Therapeutic Applications

Our discoveries to date have led to our initial focus on developing proprietary oxysterols for stimulation of bone formation and as anti-tumor agents. However, given the fact that Hedgehog signaling plays a role in formation and homeostasis of other tissues including cartilage, nerve, tendon, muscle, fat, and hair, additional opportunities exist for developing unique oxysterol molecules for intervention in various disorders that are being targeted in regenerative medicine.
